Fox
Den Cottage, in Bodden Town, is the
ideal getaway cottage for a couple
seeking intimacy and seclusion on
Grand Cayman. It's about a mile
from Turtle Nest Inn. located behind
the main house on a beautiful
property with exquisite vegetation.
Fox Den is away from the "tourist
strip", but only about eight miles
from George Town and the airport at
rates that are lower than a basic
room in most Grand Cayman hotels.
The self-contained, one-bedroom
cottage shares the grounds, pool and
hottub with the main house, but is
far enough removed from the main
house, and completely private.
It's
fully equipped with central A/C,
cable TV, and a high-speed Internet
access free of charge. There's a
queen bed in the bedroom, and a
complete kitchen. Guests have full
use of the pool, hottub and sundeck,
and all facilities on the property.
Fox Den is located along the main
road going east from George Town,
but set far enough back from the
road to assure complete peace and
quiet. While not on the sea, you'll
have full guest privileges to all
common facilities at the Inn
including the beach, pool,
washrooms, terrace, kayak,
snorkelling equipment, etc. For
those seeking to stay at Turtle Nest
Inn when we're full, or who simply
prefer their own, private house, we
wholeheartedly recommend Fox Den
Cottage, and are proud to be
handling all reservations. Fox Den
Cottage is well maintained by the
owners, the rates are very
attractive (identical to those for
an ocean view apartment at the Inn),
and it's typically booked with a
rental car. |
